The theme for the first Doreen Gamboa Fernandez Short Food Video Award is about inihaw.

MECHANICS

  1. Fill up the Application Google Form.

  2. Submit video either through a published link or upload it onto our google drive. 

  3. Videos can either be published or unreleased. If videos have been published it must be between January 1 2023 and September 30 2024. If unreleased, please upload the video on our google drive folder. 

RULES AND REGULATIONS 

1. The DGF Short Food Video Award is open to all Filipino video creators of all ages, from the Philippines and around the world.

2. Video creators may participate and submit their entries as Individuals or as a Team/Group. In the case of a Team/Group entry, a contact person shall be designated and the full production credits shall be indicated on the Entry Form. 

3. Participants may submit more than one entry. Each submission requires a separate Entry Form. DGF Awards shall assume that all submitted entries are original and the entrant either owns the work or has acquired the permission of the appropriate party to enter the work and all the rights granted therein. DGF Awards will not be liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the participant. 

4. Entries must be an original short video presentation about this year’s theme: Philippine Inihaw. 

5. Entries may be in English, Filipino, Taglish, or any Philippine dialect. Videos presented in a native dialect must be subtitled. 

6. Entries may run up to a maximum of five (5) minutes in length. 

8. Entries may include narrations or voice-overs, background music, still and/or moving images, visual effects and animations, illustrations, graphics, interviews, man-on-the-street, and actual footage. However, the use of unauthorized copyrighted material for audio including music, and video is not acceptable. Participants shall be responsible for obtaining all applicable releases and consents to permit the use of the video, prior to submission. 

9. The DGF Short Food Video Award reserves the right not to accept entries deemed not suitable due to irrelevant content or poor technical quality. 

10. Submission of an entry acknowledges the right of the DGF Awards to use it for exhibition and publication on its online platforms. 

11. There is no entry fee to submit a video to the competition. 

JUDGING

A panel of culinary experts and media professionals will judge the video entries based on its content, creativity, relevance, research and execution.
